It's Finished!

My wetsuit is finally finished! Really pleased that it went well and hope that my crit goes ok tommorow, am happy with the print and the stitching as was certain it was going to go wrong at some point! I think the back fits the best and the seam lines are flattering. Only thing I could have improved on is adding more Gul logos as only have a small one on the sleeve.. Anyway, let me know what you think.

I Hate Sewing!

I spent all of last weekend making toilles to try and get my wetsuit to fit properly and after several attempts it finally works, wohoo! lets hope the real thing goes ok, im halfway through so theres still time for it to go wrong but its looking good so far!!

Wetsuit Disasters!

Everything seems to be going wrong with my wetsuit at the moment so am a bit stressed as we only have a week left to finish it! But i won't let it beat me even if I do have to spend my saturday sewing...noooooo. I'm really happy with the print though as I'm planning on printing my design of birds wings on the front chest panel so hopefully that will turn out ok!

Geeks

I'm beginning to feel like a bit of a geek for doing my essay a week early....

I wish I was blonde....

....not that I'd look anything like this but hey. Stumbled across these photos while looking for ideas to change my hair colour and I love them, it's a shoot for Elle UK, Jennifer Aniston looks amazing and I really like the photography. (I stayed brunette in the end though!)

My Ski Jacket...

I photographed my Ski Jacket that I made last term in Falmouth the other day, the shoot went really well, although it was so windy it was impossible to do anything without your hair flying everywhere! Sam Camfield, a press photography student took mine and my friend Stacey's photo's for us and I think they've turned out really well! :)

I really love this bikini by Michael Kors... the prints in this new collection are really stunning, they range from feather like shapes in pinks and purples to zebra inspired black and white stripes, gorgeous!

Travelling...

Its getting nearer and nearer to summer and I want to go travelling again! Last summer I backpacked around Europe with my boyfriend and saw some amazing places....although staying in a tent for most of the 2 months was not the best idea! Venice was one of my favourite places as it was so different and had a really magical feel to it. Anyway, this summer I've decided to be sensible and save my pennies for my final year at uni... or could put it towards a round the world ticket?!
